SkyTeam airlines adjust transatlantic schedules
Posted: October 10th, 2008

SkyTeam member airlines Air France and Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) are to make changes to their transatlantic services between London and the United States.

Air France will be removing services between London Heathrow and Los Angeles from its 2008/09 winter schedule, but will increase the frequency of flights between London Heathrow and New York JFK from two to three per day for the summer 2009 schedule. Two of these will be operated by Delta and one by Air France.

The transatlantic services of the SkyTeam airlines are supplemented by flights to and from Delta's hub in Atlanta and Northwest Airlines' hubs in Detroit and Minneapolis, as well as Seattle.
