More British Airways flights set to move to Heathrow's Terminal 5

British Airways has decided to move additional flights into the new Terminal 5 at London's Heathrow Airport.
In a joint statement released with airport operator BAA, the airline confirmed that services to and from eight long-haul destinations will be switched from Terminal 4 to Terminal 5 with effect from 5 June.
The changeover will shift about a quarter of British Airways' current Terminal 4 schedule to the new terminal.
The flights that will operate from Terminal 5 from next month include services to and from New York's JFK Airport (eight flights per day) as well as daily services to Abuja, Bangalore, Beijing, Cairo, Cape Town, Lagos and Phoenix.
British Airways' chief executive Willie Walsh said that Terminal 5 is now working well.
