Event to showcase aircraft

Del Sol Aviation and Liberty Aerospace will hold an open house to show off the newest Liberty XL2 aircraft at the Cutter Aviation complex at the Albuquerque International Sunport on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Del Sol Aviation - a Sunport-based small business specializing in flight training, aircraft rental and related flight services - said there will be free rides in the Liberty XL2, weather permitting, on an advance limited basis. Call (619) 807-7500 or e-mail todd@libertyaircraftusa.com

Del Sol Aviation said its current Liberty XL2 will be on display as well and is available for flight instruction and hourly rental to qualified applicants. The company also features a Piper Cherokee 140 with standard instrumentation and a Piper Arrow II Aircraft, a complex single engine that meets FAA requirements for commercial and CFI Ratings.

Del Sol Aviation will provide grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and drinks. The cookout and aircraft display will be held in the Cutter Aviation complex (General Aviation Sector of the Albuquerque International Airport).
