Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) reported on Friday that it carried a total of 12,164,039 passengers in November 2009, a drop of 5.3% compared to the same period of last year.

Revenue passenger miles for the month fell by 7.1% compared to November 2009, while available seat miles decreased by 8.4%, resulting in a load factor of 79.6%, an improvement of 1.1 percentage points.

Cargo ton miles for November 2009 increased by 7.9% compared to the same month of last year.
