American Airlines announces additional winter flights to Brazil from JFK

American Airlines has announced that it will be adding new flights to Brazil over the winter travel season.
The airline will operate four weekly nonstop services between New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport and Rio de Janeiro starting from 19 December 2008 and running until 28 February 2009.
There will also be a fourth daily nonstop flight between Miami and Sao Paulo running between 18 December 2008 and 30 January 2009, bringing the total number of weekly flights on the route to 28 over the winter season.
An additional weekly service between Miami and Belo Horizonte will run from 21 December 2008 until 23 February 2009, totalling four weekly flights on this route in the winter season.
