The Prestige case wasn't Air Platinum's first encounter with the local civil court system.
Last February, even before Air Platinum had started selling memberships, a judge granted a request to evict the company from a North Miami business park.
In March, another judge ordered Air Platinum to pay $52,000 to a Swiss company called Travcon AG.
Travcon claimed that Air Platinum had failed to provide full payment for a jet flight.
But Air Platinum prevailed in another case.
The company won a $121,000 judgment against two companies that Air Platinum said were paid to provide jet charter services but didn't do so.
Cohen, who is still living in Northeast Miami-Dade, said he is the one who has been wronged.
In an e-mail, he said he lost $1.9 million of his own money on Air Platinum Club.
