Qantas Boss Cool After Being Detained on Suspicion of Being a Terrorist at LAX
Posted: July 8th, 2008

QANTAS chairwoman Margaret Jackson has declined an offer by US authorities to lodge a complaint after she was detained on suspicion of being a terrorist at Los Angeles airport last year.

Strict security was normal these days and anyone could expect problems, she said yesterday.

Ms Jackson was found going through airport security with plans of planes. The Herald Sun reported in January she was frisked, and a guard asked why she had them. When told she was an airline chief, the guard said: ''But you're a woman.''
